Michael W. Smith recently returned from a two-week tour of Europe where he performed to sold-out crowds in Italy, England and Holland as his new album It’s A Wonderful Christmas debuted at No. three with more than ten thousand scans on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums Chart. In addition, he performed in South Africa and spent time visiting the staff at the Living Hope Clinic in Cape Town. “I’m thankful that I got to see the work that’s being done at this clinic. The people are passionate about Christ and serving their community. I’m glad I got to experience their hearts and incredible work, first hand,” shares Smith. He was so impressed with the clinic that he is splitting 100% of the proceeds from his Dec. 22 Christmas concert in Nashville, between the clinic and Rocketown.Michael kicks off his It’s A Wonderful Christmas tour on Nov. 29 in Binghampton, NY with special guests Melinda Doolittle and The Katinas.
